This summer we aren’t taking our annual vacation to the beach so instead I’m getting my beach fix by enjoying all the wonderful coastal decor ideas floating around the web. Today myself and 12 other bloggers are joining together to share 13 fabulous coastal DIY projects you could try this summer to bring the beach to your home!

Let’s kick this collection off with one of my all time favorite projects this Seashell Specimen Art I created with the butterfly shells my family collected one year at the beach!

We still have this pretty display and I hope to make a similar display of the shark teeth we’ve also collected over the past few years!
Now get ready to feel the breeze on your cheeks and the salt on your lips because these lovely coastal decor projects will take you straight to the beach!!

The coquina artwork is near to my heart. I live about 20 minutes away from Coquina Beach. Back in the day we collected so many coquinas and made soup. I wish I had saved the shells. I will need to sort through my shells and see if I have enough coquinas to make this piece of art.
What a treat to live so close to the shore! This would be such a meaningful project for your home. 🙂 I love how it’s so simple yet beautiful this project turned out to be.
Your artwork is so pretty – I love those shells!
Thanks Meg!
So many fun projects! I love your “butterflies”! 🙂
Thanks so much Nancy!
